Organza, It is a transparent or translucent gauze, mostly covered on satin or silk. Wedding dresses designed by the French often use organza as the main raw material.
It is plain, transparent, brightly colored after dyeing, and light in texture. Similar to silk products, organza is very hard. As a chemical fiber lining and fabric, it is not only used to make wedding dresses, but also can be used to make curtains, dresses, Christmas tree ornaments, various ornament bags, and can also be used to make ribbons.
The composition of ordinary organza is organza 100% poly, 100% nylon, polyester and nylon, polyester and rayon, nylon and rayon interlaced, etc. Through post-processing such as wrinkling, flocking, hot stamping, coating, etc., there are more styles and a wider range of applications.
Organza is a wool-feeling monofilament made by adding elastic false twist to nylon or polyester mother yarn and then splitting it into two yarns, also called Green yarn.
Domestic organza; pleated organza; multi-color organza; imported organza; 2040 organza; 2080 organza; 3060 organza. Common specifications are 20*20/40*40.
Generally used as fashion fabrics for European and American brands. Because of its crisp texture, it is often used in wedding dresses, various summer gauze skirts, curtains, fabrics, performance costumes, etc.
Silk gauze: also known as plain gauze, is a gauze with mulberry silk as warp and weft. The warp and weft density are both sparse, and the fabric is light and thin. In order to increase the price of silk gauze, merchants use the gimmick of imported products to sell silk gauze as organza, calling it “silk organza”. In fact, the two are not the same fabric.
Glass gauze: Another imitation silk fabric, there is a saying of “silk glass gauze”.
1. It is not advisable to soak organza clothing in cold water for too long, generally 5 to 10 minutes is better. It is best to choose neutral detergent. Do not machine wash. Hand wash should also be gently rubbed to prevent fiber damage.
2. Organza fabrics are acid-resistant but not alkali-resistant. To keep the color bright, you can drop a few drops of acetic acid in the water when washing, and then soak the clothes in the water for about ten minutes, and then take them out to dry, so as to maintain the color of the clothes.
3. It is best to dry with water, ice-clean and shade-dry, and turn the clothes over to dry. Do not expose them in the sun to prevent affecting the strength and color fastness of the fibers.
4. Organza products should not be sprayed with perfume, fresheners, deodorants, etc., and mothballs should not be used during storage, because organza products will absorb odors or cause discoloration.
5. It is best to hang them on hangers in the wardrobe. Do not use metal hangers to prevent rust pollution. If they need to be stacked, they should also be placed on the top layer to avoid being compressed, deformed, and wrinkled due to long-term storage.
