Silicone leather

Silicone leather is a synthetic leather product that looks and feels like leather and can be used instead of leather. It is usually made of fabric as the base and coated with silicone polymer. There are mainly two types: silicone resin synthetic leather and silicone rubber synthetic leather. Silicone leather has the advantages of no odor, hydrolysis resistance, weather resistance, environmental protection, easy cleaning, high and low temperature resistance, acid, alkali and salt resistance, light resistance, heat aging resistance, yellowing resistance, bending resistance, disinfection, and strong color fastness. It can be used in outdoor furniture, yachts and ships, soft package decoration, car interior, public facilities, sports equipment, medical equipment and other fields.

Synthesis process The synthesis process of silicone oil is bulk polymerization, which does not use any organic solvents or water as a production resource. The synthesis time is short, the process is simple, and continuous production can be used. The product quality is stable Siloxane is hydrolyzed and condensed into a network product under the catalytic conditions of water, organic solvent, acid or base. The hydrolysis process is long and difficult to control. The quality of different batches varies greatly. After the reaction is completed, activated carbon and large amounts of water are required for cleaning. The product production cycle is long, the yield is low, and water resources are wasted. In addition, the organic solvent in the finished product cannot be completely removed.
Texture Gentle, the hardness range is 0-80A and can be adjusted at will The plastic feels heavy, and the hardness is often greater than 70A.

Hydrolysis resistance No hydrolysis, because silicone rubber materials are hydrophobic materials and do not produce any chemical reaction with water Hydrolysis resistance is 14 days. Because silicone resin is a hydrolysis condensation product of organic siloxane, it is easy to undergo a reverse chain scission reaction when encountering acidic and alkaline water.
